Lewis Black is known as the unstoppable, loose-cannon political, topical and weekly commentator of the "Back in Black" segment on COMEDY CENTRAL's "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" since 1996. Born and raised Silver Spring, Maryland, Black has found a home on the stage as an actor, playwright and stand-up comedian. Black is a graduate of the prestigious Yale School of Drama. His television acting credits include "Homicide" and "Mad About You." As a stand-up comedian he has performed at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, numerous clubs across the country such as New York's "Caroline's" and Boston's "Comedy Connection" with regular appearances on "The Conan O' Brian Show." Black also received the 2001 American Comedy Award for "Best Male Stand Up."
